 pher's Church is the venue for a performance of Mozart's Horn concer
 to no.4\, featuring HMS's Principal Horn\, Roger Doulton\, as soloist.
  This is arguably the best known of Mozart's horn concertos. It was m
 ade popular by Flanders and Swann\, who set the third movement (Rondo)
  to words for their song "Ill Wind" from the album "At the Drop of Anoth
 er Hat".    Starting with Mendelssohn's early work A Calm Sea and Pros
 perous Voyage\, the mood changes with Glinka's lively Kamarinskaya\, b
 ased on Russian folk song.  The programme is completed by Haydn's Symp
 hony No 103\, one of his later "London" symphonies\, which was written a
 t the time of his peak creativity. It is named after the long roll on the
  timpani with which the symphony opens.      \n\nJames Ross conducts.\n
