Saturday 7th December 2024 at 7.30 pm in the Haslemere Hall

This concert contains traditional audience-pleasers as well as contemporary works.  The Society is able to show case one of its members, Tim Milford, in Haydn's Trumpet Concerto and with Holst's Christmas Day the concert will herald the festive season.  There are two contemporary works - Clive Osgood's Magnificat and Blake's 'The Snowman'  Clive is the Society's Accompanist and Assistant Chorus Master and the  'Magnificat' is one of his most recent compositions.  The version of 'The Snowman' which will be performed is the soundtrack to the film complete with Narrator and boy soloist to sing 'Walking in the Air'.
